Would you like to get to the bottom of misunderstandings, tensions or open conflicts in your team and make collaboration possible again?
With team mediation, I can help you to resolve blockages and create a new basis for cooperation.

Objective:
  • Create a win-win situation that takes into account the needs of all team members.
  • Create a positive working atmosphere and constructive cooperation.
  • Reduce stress and frustration in the team.
  • Interpersonal conflicts in the team.
  • Conflicts between managers and team members.
  • Performance problems due to friction.
  • Differences of opinion about decisions.
  • Different management and working styles.
  • Unclear allocation of roles.
  • Communication problems within the team.

Teams of 2 to 10 people (departments, functional teams, project teams, management teams, remote or virtual teams, start-ups, small teams).

  1. Clarification of the mandate with the client.
  2. Preparatory discussions with the parties (pre-mediation) – individual and/or group discussions.
  3. Realisation of the mediation and final agreement.
  4. Follow-up meeting(s) to adapt the measures and promote sustainability (post-mediation) – as required.

Depending on the number of people and the complexity of the issues. Three sessions of 2-3 hours each for step 3 are a rule of thumb. The practical example described below took a total of 18 hours (including additional one-to-one meetings). Another with three parties lasted a total of 10 hours.

All my services are available in German, French, and English. The delivery is flexible: we can meet either at your location or online. Together, we’ll find the solution that best suits your needs.

Coaching, e.g. to improve communication skills or anchor behavioural changes.

Two colleagues couldn’t stand each other, which put a strain on the team. The manager organised a mediation session and transparently presented its expectations. As part of the mediation, the parties developed strategies for dealing with the situation and improved communication. The team atmosphere improved significantly.
